Ive seen some people posting about Tera and other mmo's

Id like to recommend that you do a set up for Tera.
Why?
Because with out Code's Programming in Tera im sure the world will surely end.

The game has some great design and im sure most of us will be eagerly wanting to through money at Codes feet to help us better Enjoy our gaming experience!

Id also like to add that Crafting will be a big part of the game, where if one wants really good gear they will need to craft for the most part. So if you do choose to build a program for Tera please have a good crafting program for the game.

Wait until it comes out for NA. Either that or i'll make a poll. This game looks promising and i'd like to see it supported.

some feed back from a live chat the Tera group was hosting, they were asked about aim bots ect and if the tera group was going to manage this aspect, their reply was along the lines of, tera will have a team specifically focused on this aspect to keep the integrity of the game in tac, and they will have a feature that allows players to tag someone they believe is using a bot. i believe Code may have his work cut out for him.

misc info, tera uses the unreal 3 engine.

They say they have a team, but then player base drops, they stop making money and they lay that team off. Either that or they are just trying to make the legit people think like they are doing something.

Either way, if code2k7 supports Tera you don't even need to worry about it. He's the best of the best. I wonder if he would write an aimbot for Tera considering it is an "action" mmo, or just do the whole speed/teleport thing, totally up to him, but like I said earlier, it's WAY to early to tell.

Actually it's the exact same concept they use in Aion. Game Security or something. You can see how well it is for Aion. Don't sweat the small stuff yet, the game isn't even out yet here.

I thought Aion dropped gameguard? That program is so notorious for catching people who don't hack at all that it would be a poor business plan to use it.

Nah, its an in game policing unit, NCwest is always hiring for that position. They do all the investigations for the gm's. The gm takes the support tickets and passes them to the in game investigation unit. That unit puts together their report, the process can take months, when they have enough info or the infraction is severe enough, they ban the account. When this unit bans the account, it is extremely hard, as in nearly impossible, to get your account back. Probably 95% of their cases are closed permanently, it might be an even higher percentage. I know the person that runs the NCwest unit, he used to be Head GM for lineage 2. He is hell on wheels and a major hardass. If I ever saw him near my character in game, I think I would log out and quit and never come back again. If he is looking at you, you are screwed. GMSpam

Then they will lose a lot of customers. Also guess what? In memory GM's write differently on a entity list! So we can track them and alert you if they are near. So don't worry, these guys are tools, we'll get around them, in mmoninja history we've maybe had 1 or 2 bans in all our games.

One or two? What about the huge ban wave that came from Trion a month or two ago?
