After using a cheaper bot offered elsewhere to do some boring grinding on alts off my main server, I decided I really needed a bot that I could run in background mode without the laborious setup of a virtual machine.

I found MMONinja/Aion Glider and it looked like it did just about everything I could think of, and better, with easier overall configuration. I was hesitant at first because it was so much more expensive than anything else I'd seen. But after a couple weeks of using a more primitive and less expensive bot, the transition to Aion Glider was painless and much easier to set up different character classes, keybinds, and save/export paths.

Eventually I even decided I needed to use Aion Glider on more than one computer and bought a second license. I am thrilled that I can pay a one-time fee to add new computers to my account (or simply reset my license if I replace any computers).

The radar and alerting features that can be utilized are great. I don't use DX Radar very often, but the alarm features built into Aion Glider can make it very easy for you to stay alert of whether anyone has possibly seen you or followed you in your farming paths, and this can make it safer for you to bot without constantly monitoring it. I have never even detected a GM yet, going into my fourth month of membership now, even though I've often run the same path on a daily basis (I just ran it only during the late hours).

The thing that I like most about this bot is how well it handles gathering and that I don't have to do anything special to my paths in order to enable or disable it. You can run a path with Fighting & Gathering on, you can adjust the distance at which your character chooses to "pull" itself to the node, or you can simply record a path and run it in Gathering-only mode and your character will only fight off what it aggroes.



I look forward to other features yet to be added, and I only wish I could've afforded myself the savings of paying a 12 month subscription rather than 3 month this time around. A 6 month subscription with slightly better savings over the 3 month rate would be perfect for my budget!
